Now, unwrap the black ink cartridge and insert it into the remaining slot in the same way as the tri-colour cartridge. While inserting the cartridges, don’t touch the copper coloured contacts and ink nozzles. Once you’ve inserted the ink cartridges, you can close the ink cartridge access area. First, take a stack of plain A4 sheets and align them on a hard surface. Then, open the Paper Input Tray located at the back of the printer. Next, insert the stack of papers into the Paper Tray. Now, slide the Paper width guides and adjust them such that they just touch the edges of the sheet. Next, pull out the Paper Output Tray so that the printer can print out an alignment sheet. Once the printer has printed the alignment sheet, open the scanner glass lid and place the alignment sheet face down on the scanner glass. Next, close the scanner glass lid. If the printer has finished successfully scanning the sheet, it displays an Alignment Successful message. Lastly, tap Finish to finish setting up the Web Services.
