HP Envy 5540 Printer Unboxing

  • First, open the cardboard box and remove all of its accessories. This includes ink cartridges and the power cord.
  • You’ll also find an Installation CD and manuals while you unbox the printer.
  • The software drivers can be downloaded from 123.hp.com/envy5540 or 123.hp.com/setup 5540 installed using the CD.
  • Then, tilt the printer and remove the cardboard piece on top.
  • Next, drag the printer out of the box. Remove the transparent covering on the printer and peel away the tapes on its surface.
  • Then, open the scanner glass lid and take off the plastic on the scanner glass lid.
  • Next, remove the Styrofoam sheet from the scanner glass and close the scanner lid.
  • Now, open the Paper Output Tray and remove the piece of blue tape on it.

  • Then, place the alignment sheet print-side down on the scanner glass lid and close it. Press OK to start aligning the page.   • First, switch on the HP Envy 5540 printer and wait for it to fall silent.
